I am from Ocean Man First Nation, Treaty 4 Territory. I am Dakota and Nakota (Sioux, Assiniboine, and Plains Cree). I also have Scottish ancestry, which is where my last name, McArthur, originated. I am a mother. I have four children. My husband and I also have a dog, a cat and tons of plants.
I am an Indigenous Social Worker. I accredit my education to the First Nations University of Canada. I studied in Regina, Sk. and Saskatoon, Sk. I’ve also received education from The University of British Columbia, Vancouver Campus (Trauma Informed Institute) and St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia Campus (COADY International Institute).
I am an experienced Community-Based Researcher honouring an Indigenous Methodology. As a helper within our communities, I’ve spent most of my time within Program Creation and Community Development.
I am grateful for knowledge acquired within Restorative Justice and Family Reunification. I am a compassionate trauma-informed iskwew (woman) with lived experience, which I believe is the most valuable within the work that I’ve done and will continue to do for our communities.

Description of Services:I am a Psychedelic-Assisted Integration Psychotherapist. I've been mainly focusing on the medicinal and therapeutic benefits of Psilocybin mushrooms.
I specialize in integration support of non-ordinary states of consciousness (NOSCs) such as, plant medicine journeys, dream interpretation, near-death experiences, premonition, clairvoyance and integration processing for messages that occur during ceremonial sittings, dance and singing.
I utilize Internal Family System (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing for trauma treatment, as well as 3-in-1 Concepts (integration of the mind, body and spirit). I offer integration support for processing drug-induced psychosis and integrating fragmentation due to traumatic events.
My approach is psycho-spiritual "psychological and spiritual." This approach leads to major personal and spiritual transformation with the intention of spiritual connection to the individual's spiritual essence. I value the community healing modal.

Step 3- Holistic (Medicine Wheel) Assessment (in-depth exploration of health. Addiction status for contraindications. Intentional assessment/check in for psychotic symptoms and assessing for stability (to go in to procedure treatment). Support for emotional tolerance and emotional regulation (mindfulness).
Step 4- Consultation with Medical Director -Psychiatrist for case conceptualization & approval
Step 5-Psycho-spiritual Psychedelic Preparation
Step 6 -Integration begins post medicine: group/individual integration can begin with variety of trained therapists
