About the Retreat:Nimea Kaya is a leading Ayahuasca Healing Center in the Peruvian Amazon. With decades of experience, our traditional male and female Shipibo healers bring deep compassion, love, and dedication to their healing work with the participants. Founded in 2008, our Center's vision has been devoted to assisting individuals to heal from a variety of issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and grief, as well as chronic physical ailments. Our loving and supportive retreat environment allows guests to awaken to their fullest potential by expanding their consciousness and healing their bodies, minds, and spirits so that lifelong transformation may be achieved. Through our work with our Amazon Outreach Program, Selva Spirit Association, we also focus on elevating the health of local communities through implementing clean water projects in local villages and raising awareness in the preservation of local indigenous cultures. Our mission is to uphold the integrity of the traditions and wisdom carried down by the powerful healers of the Shipibo lineages, holding the flame of this ancient knowledge so that these healing practices may continue forth.
Description of Services:Nine Day Immersive Ayahuasca Retreats
At Nimea Kaya, we offer Nine Day Traditional Ayahuasca Retreats with four ceremonies, guided by both male and female Shipibo Healers. Our shamanic retreats are designed to accommodate each individual on their path of awakening and healing. We provide a safe, responsible, and compassionately supportive environment for those seeking a responsible way to open themselves for healing and exploration. Integration circles and continual personal support are provided to ensure successful personal transformation. We also provide the opportunity for our guests to work with a variety of alternative healing modalities for a more holistic approach in gaining long-lasting successful changes in their lives. At Nimea Kaya, we deeply value and honor the unique process each participant will experience with Ayahuasca and are able to provide the necessary knowledge and assistance to guide each person through this life changing journey.
Our Ayahuasca Medicine is made on site during each retreat, where the guests may participate in the sacred brewing process.
Throughout the retreat, we also offer yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing journeys, plant baths, art therapy, guided plant walks, ceremony integration circles, and one-to-one counseling.
Our team of experienced facilitators and healers offers an abundance of loving and encouraging support, helping our guests come into a new sense of self-empowerment, releasing the blocks and limitations that previously held them back in life.
Complimentary Ayahuasca Preparation and Integration sessions are offered to the guests before and after the retreat.

Overview of Experience:A successful experience with Ayahuasca will require a multifaceted approach to be able to maintain the long-term benefits from working with this Medicine. We strongly recommend for there to be a dedicated time to the preparation of the journey before stepping into the ceremonial process. Upon receiving approval to attend our program, a preparation guide is given to the participant. This will include how to follow the recommended Ayahuasca diet.
The 9 Day Retreat Journey will include 4 Ayahuasca ceremonies as well as a variety of holistic healing activities and modalities to complement the healing work. Guests have the opportunity to assist in the Ayahuasca brewing process. An initial welcome meeting is offered on the first day to go over the details of the retreat program and to give an in-depth overview of the process for working with Ayahuasca. During the retreat, guests have the opportunity to have one-to-one consultations with the shamans and lead facilitators for further integration.
The healing work will continue after the retreat, as it does not simply end when the ceremonies are over. This is where some of the most transformative changes take place. Following the suggestions and recommendations on how to navigate the integration period is paramount in achieving the long lasting transformation people are seeking. After our retreats end, an Integration package and complimentary ayahuasca integration sessions are given to the participants.
Intake Process:An application must be filled out upon applying for a retreat. Within the application is a series of medical questions inquiring into medication use, physical and mental health, and intentions for wishing to participate in a retreat. Once the application is approved, we will send an email with all the necessary details to begin preparing for the retreat. Complimentary retreat preparation calls are given to the participants in the weeks leading up to the retreat.
Supplemental Modalities: Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, Sound Healing, Plant Baths, Integration Circles, Art Therapy, Nature WalksPsychedelic Substances Offered: AyahuascaHow does this Center source medicine?:We source our ayahuasca and chacruna from a local property in the Ucayali region that has dedicated their land to sustainably planting the vine and leaf. They are continually planting more and only harvest at the appropriate times in the growth cycle of the plants. Nimea Kaya has also planted the ayahuasca vine on many areas of the property and will be harvesting when the vine has matured sufficiently.

I love, love, love Nimea Kaya! Jill and her team are such beautiful souls for providing such an incredible place to experience Ayahuasca.
*Attention to detail, from the moment I was picked up from the airport to the moment I was dropped off, I felt the love and caring intention put into everything; every day was magical. I felt supported and encouraged while I did the inner dive.
*Beautiful balance of group activities and alone time to process.
*Meals are beyond delicious and there’s also plenty of tea and fruit to snack on.
*Rooms are comfy and having gone three times, I have always felt at home.
*I appreciate the respect Nimea Kaya has for the land, the spirit of the plants.
*The ceremonies themselves are powerful, and the facilitators are the perfect amount of supportive and also allowing you the space to move through the energies.
*The plant walk, the joy of making your own brew, the painting, the water tower talks, the Shipibo art fair, the connections you make with the other participants… that’s all added joyful moments to the experience that I get to keep in my heart forever.
*The support you are given after the retreat is lovely as well.
Thank you Nimea Kaya!
It is hard to put into words how profound my experience at Nimea Kaya was. I have never felt more supported, seen, understood and free to be authentically me. It has simply changed the trajectory of my life in the most humbling way possible. The staff and volunteers were incredible, thoughtful and really in tune to what the guests at the center were experiencing and were present every step of the way. Truly and incredible place. A safe place to grow, heal, learn and expand. What a gift! Endless gratitude for this center and their beautiful team.
If you are looking for deep healing & if you want to go straight to the source. Nimea Kaya is for you. I don’t even know where to begin. The facilitators, the ceremony, the food, everything was absolutely perfect for my first experience working with the medicine.
I think the facilitators really sealed the deal for me. They are genuine good souls who are they to help you through the process. They were beyond attentive during the ceremonies and are always available to talk through integration. They provide useful feedback and integration advice after every ceremony and before entering the “real world” again. You can tell they genuinely care.
For an aya dieta, the food was AMAZING! I cannot repeat this enough. WOW!
I love that the group is small (we had 16 people in our group)
My standards have been set with Nimea Kaya and are very high and I definitely plan on returning.
