About Me:Hello! I am Clara Rose (legal name Ronni Umles).
I am a transpersonal, somatic, and IFS-informed psychotherapist & coach. My background is rooted in years of personal and professional exploration of the Self through radical free expression. The road I took towards the mental health field was in no way linear. In fact, I’ve adopted a wide perspective from having experienced several ups and downs in both my personal life and career. After embarking on my own inner healing journey, I eventually gained skills, tools, wisdom and most importantly a deepened connection with myself and beyond. These experiences thus led me to making several lifestyle changes and opened the space to now serve others. My personal growth is ongoing, as it supports and informs my ability to incite the healer within those I work with. I now find purpose in connecting with and supporting others who seek change for themselves to create a fulfilled and intentional life.
Description of Services:I utilize an eclectic approach that incorporates several modalities including: somatic embodiment, parts work, and emotional awareness practices, presence and mindfulness, breath work, shamanic ideology and energy medicine, visual journeys, and integration/harm reduction. I incorporate a transpersonal and integrative lens, as well as an alternative healing approach.
I am an ally to and affirm those from several backgrounds including psychonauts, ethically non-monogamous, BDSM/Kink, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC.

Overview of Experience:My main focus when it comes to preparation and integration is to determine the overall safety and mindset of the client. This is often dependent on a few things: what level of experience a client has in working with psychedelics or plant medicines, what type of experience they seek, and what is their intention. For those who are new to using psychedelics or sacred plant medicine either therapeutically or spiritually, I feel it’s important to first educate oneself about both the cultural and clinical contexts that medicine currently resides. Reading books, researching, listening to podcasts, going to community gatherings is as much a part of preparation as it is integration.
When I support any new client on my caseload, regardless of their experience, I require about four weeks of scheduled weekly sessions before they have a journey. Sometimes more preparation is needed which will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Returning clients may have a different set up which will be determined after their first journey. Things to consider pre-journey are getting checked for health screenings and assessing contraindications with any current medications. All the while, we discuss intentions and any other important topics, such as fears or concerns, listening to intuition, vetting processes, etc.
Post journey, we integrate. Integration looks different for everyone as each journey is often unique to where an individual is currently in their process of expansion and/or healing. While I feel it’s important to meet at the very least for 4-8 integration sessions post journey, I do not have a predetermined end date, as integration is an ongoing process and eventually becomes a lifestyle practice for many, myself included.
Intake Process:We first start with a discovery call, which last about 20-30 minutes. A discovery call is an opportunity for me to get a glimpse of where you are in your in experience and process with medicine as well as for you to ask me questions about how I work/who I am. We will also discuss financial exchange and logistics. A discovery call is a dual interview, you are interviewing me as much as I am interviewing you.
Should we decide to move forward, I will send you a comprehensive intake form and credit card form, we will also schedule our first intake session. Intakes are a great space to deepen where we left off in the discovery call and to talk about your interests and experiences you’ve either had or are curious about. During an intake, I’ll be able to better assess safety about moving forward with a journey based on your medical and psychological history.
It is imperative to remember that I am not a doctor, I am a psychotherapist and a coach. Ultimately, you must take your health into your own hands as well as do your research if you have any medical conditions or medications that could be contraindicative to the medicine you seek to explore with. My roles is to utilize harm reduction to initiate greater awareness and insight that will empower you to make a well-informed decision.
