About Me:As a full-time psychedelic counselor, guide, professional DJ, and author of The Psychedelic DJ: A Practical Guide to Therapeutic Music Curation & Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy (thepsychedelicdj.com), I bring together over 30 years of musical expertise and more than 15 years of clinical experience in experiential counseling. My work lives at the intersection of music, healing, and expanded states of consciousness, offering a grounded, integrative approach to psychedelic therapy.
My journey began in the early 1990s underground electronic music scene of New York City, where I co-founded Tsunami Productions, introduced psychedelic trance to the East Coast, and later launched the techno label Railyard Recordings. Over three decades, I’ve performed at renowned festivals and nightclubs around the world, shaping ecstatic dance floor experiences and exploring the transformative power of rhythm and vibration.
After earning my counseling degree from Loyola Marymount University and certifications in addiction counseling and Gestalt therapy, I worked extensively with clients navigating trauma, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and spiritual crises. A transformative psilocybin journey in 2015 reignited my connection to psychedelic medicine and inspired me to unite my passions of counseling, music, and guiding to help others find healing, insight, and transformation.
At Integrated Psychedelics, I provide trauma-informed preparation and integration support for psychedelic experiences. My services include intention-setting, mindset and environment preparation, harm reduction education, and post-journey integration. I help clients process insights, navigate challenging visions, and apply lessons to daily life. My therapeutic approach draws from Gestalt therapy, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and the cultural traditions of psychedelic use, always rooted in compassion and presence.
Through my direct work with clients, I eventually developed Therapeutic DJing—a modality that combines intentional clinical counseling with music curation to support psilocybin-assisted therapy and emotional transformation. Informed by a lifetime of musical devotion, my sets and sessions are crafted as immersive journeys: emotionally resonant, carefully tuned, and guided by a deep reverence for sound as medicine.
Description of Services:I believe in the freedom of self-exploration, self-actualization, and the pursuit of enlightenment through the respectful use of psychedelics as sacred, healing medicine. I offer compassionate education, encouragement, and guidance before and after your experiences, helping you navigate each stage of the journey with clarity and care. Together, we’ll explore the history of psychedelics, distinguish fact from fiction, and address any fears while setting clear, heartfelt intentions. I provide safe, transformative pathways for your medicine work, supporting the integration of both profound insights and challenging visions. Through this process, we uncover the lessons and wisdom within your experiences, translating them into meaningful, lasting change in your everyday life.
My work is rooted in harm reduction and designed for individuals who are ready to engage this path responsibly. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for people to explore their inner landscape, move through unresolved material, and connect with what lies beneath the surface.
I believe music is more than background, it’s medicine, a co-therapist, an energetic guide, and a mirror. My role is to create the conditions where you can listen deeply, journey safely, and return with something meaningful.
Psychedelics are not a shortcut or a cure, but when used with care, skill, and soul-centered music, they can accelerate healing and deepen transformation.

Overview of Experience:I guide clients through the full arc of a clinical psychedelic journey: introductory call, screening, preparation counseling, the experience itself, and post-journey integration counseling.
All clients begin with a thorough screening to ensure readiness, safety, and rapport. We assess for mental and physical contraindications, psychedelic history, personal background, and intentions. I review my full protocol so clients have informed consent before we agree to proceed. If we move forward, clients complete a detailed intake that includes personal and family history, as well as intention-setting journaling focused on their goals for the journey. These writings are later revisited in preparation counseling sessions.
Journeys take place in a grounded, safe, and supportive environment. Clients rest with eyeshades between two mastering-grade speakers while I curate music in real time to guide the emotional arc of the session. Music serves as a co-therapist, helping to deepen insight, release emotions, and navigate inner landscapes. I remain present throughout, offering grounding and reassurance if needed. As the session closes, I provide gentle counseling to help clients process emerging content as they return to baseline.
Post-journey integration is where transformation takes root. In follow-up sessions, we explore insights, challenges, and breakthroughs. Using gestalt experiential counseling, mindfulness tools, and somatic therapy, I help clients anchor their experience into daily life and review practices for “watering the seeds of change.”
Intake Process:All clients begin with a free intro phone call to assess mutual fit, answer questions, and explain my process. If we both agree to explore further, the next step is a thorough screening to ensure safety, readiness, and rapport.
My screening includes:
- Medical and psychological history to assess for contraindications
- Psychedelic history and current medication review
- Intention setting to clarify goals for the work
- Discussion of my protocol and safety agreements, including physical boundaries, emergency procedures and client rightsClients then complete a detailed intake form covering personal and family background, health history and intention-setting journaling. I review all materials before scheduling a journey and may request additional screening or documentation from a healthcare provider if concerns arise.
Before moving ahead, clients sign an informed consent and harm reduction agreement outlining the scope of my services, associated risks, and confidentiality policies. Only once this process is complete and both the client and I agree it’s appropriate, do we schedule the journey along with the preparation and post-journey counseling sessions.
