Overview of Experience:I offer psychedelic preparation and integration therapy through an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens, entirely via telehealth. I do not provide, source, or administer substances. My role is to help you arrive at your experience grounded and clear, and to help you make meaning of it afterward.
Preparation. Together we explore your intentions, your history, and the parts of you that may show up: the hopeful ones, the protective ones, the ones carrying fear or skepticism. We get to know these parts ahead of time so they feel less like obstacles and more like allies. We also talk practically about set and setting, support people, safety planning, and what to do if things feel difficult. Most clients do 2–4 preparation sessions.
The experience. Whether you’re working with a legal clinical program, a retreat, a ketamine provider, or within your own spiritual or ceremonial context, I help you think through how to stay connected to Self — the calm, curious, compassionate core IFS describes — when material comes up. You’ll go in with a few simple anchors you’ve already practiced.
Integration. This is where much of the lasting change happens. In the days and weeks after, we slow down and work with what emerged: insights, images, emotions, and any parts that were stirred up or newly unburdened. IFS is especially well suited here because it gives a gentle, structured way to follow up with what surfaced rather than leaving it unprocessed. Integration may take a few sessions or become ongoing therapy.
I bring 13 years of clinical experience and a trauma-informed, non-pathologizing approach. My aim is for you to feel prepared, held, and genuinely changed in ways that last.
Intake Process:I begin with a free 15–20 minute video or phone consultation to hear what you’re looking for, answer questions, and see whether we’re a good fit. If we decide to move forward:
Intake forms and informed consent. These include telehealth consent and a clear explanation of my role, including that I do not provide or facilitate access to substances.
Medical history and medication review. I screen for medications and conditions that can make psychedelic use riskier, such as certain antidepressants, lithium, and heart conditions. When needed, I ask you to consult your prescriber or physician.
Psychological assessment. In our first full session, I assess your mental health history, including any personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder, current stability, trauma history, and support systems.
Location verification. I confirm that you live in a state where I’m licensed.Photos
