Retreat Info
About the Retreat:At ETÉREO, we offer boutique-style retreats for those seeking deep healing, clarity, and spiritual connection through sacred medicine. Each experience is intimate, curated, and guided with the highest level of care by initiated facilitators, on-site therapists and medical screening. We prioritize safety, preparation, and integration, supporting participants through every phase of the journey.
Our Approach
We honor the cultural and spiritual roots of the medicines we work with while integrating modern trauma-informed support. Our iboga retreats follow the Bwiti tradition of Gabon, and our San Pedro ceremonies are guided through the Andean cosmology. Each immersion is designed to help individuals reconnect to their truth in a grounded and sacred way.

•5-MeO-DMT (Toad Medicine): Private 1-on-1 sessions or within a 3 or 5 day retreat container in a tranquil desert setting. Includes full preparation and post-session support.

Our retreats take place either at our private AIRE LIBRE basecamp near Todos Santos, Baja California Sur or at carefully selected luxury venues curated for iboga immersions.
AIRE LIBRE is an off-grid desert sanctuary located in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains, about an hour from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). Remote yet accessible, this land has been intentionally designed to support deep transformation in a grounded, natural setting.
For iboga, we also host retreats in luxury private villas near the Pacific Ocean. Each venue is chosen with care to offer comfort, privacy, and a serene environment that supports deep rest and reflection.

“Earlier this year, attended an Iboga ceremony at a women’s retreat organized by Paije and her team. Having been in many plant ceremonies in the past I was struck by how luxurious the facilities were and the care they put in every detail. Once the journey began, I couldn’t be more grateful for all of the care and comforts that allowed me to rest and process while in a very vulnerable state. I felt guided with gentleness and respect by everyone, especially Paije and Ixchel who were always available and attentive with their wisdom and clear guidance, while giving me ample space to process on my own. The whole process was extremely vulnerable for me, I felt humbled (and tumbled) by the medicine, but I always felt safe and cared for. I could tell Paije, Ixchel and their assistants took their job and the medicine very seriously and knew the way it works on the mind and soul levels, which gave me comfort in difficult moments. I could see how deeply they are committed to the Bwiti path and wisdom that holds it all together.
Fletcher was present and supportive with his gentle and respectful presence in key moments (and offering support in my mother language, Spanish!) And Paul fed us with nourishing and rich foods. It was a powerful retreat, it’s taking me a long time to integrate it, but I feel I shed years and years of pain and grief, which is allowing me to get more clear on who I am, without all the extra emotional weight. What a relief! I will come back to this medicine when Im ready to go to the next level.
I feel so much respect for Paije’s work and her dedication to being impeccable in her transmission and guidance while holding space for such life changing medicine. Thank you! Bassé!"

“My partner and I just returned from a private three-day retreat curated by Paije and Fletcher of ETÉREO in Todos Santos. They have truly mastered the ability to create not only a beautiful space for their work, but a program that flows from medicine to integration seamlessly and with deep intention. The thought they put into each aspect of the experience is exceptional - the prayers, meditations, set & setting (ETÉREO land!), journey playlist, fire ceremony, and nourishing food - kept us feeling safe and guided as we moved through our inner work. They also connected us with highly skilled practitioners of massage, somatic work, sound bath, and cooking - Chef Paul prepared the most satiating meals throughout our entire stay..This level of curation is a skill they both deserve acknowledgment for.
What we’ve gained from this experience feels much bigger than we can even fathom at this time - and we see how it will continue to unfold in the coming weeks and months both individually and in our marriage. Paije and Fletcher show so much respect to the ancient practices they facilitate, while connecting still to how it all relates to today, the world we live in now. They have dedicated themselves to healing; the land, the animals, the people. We feel immense admiration and gratitude for the work they’re doing.”

Overview of Experience:Preparation begins with a thorough intake process, including medical screening, intention-setting, and one-on-one sessions with either a psychedelic-informed therapist or ceremonial guide. We offer educational resources, personalized preparation plans, and practices that help guests arrive grounded, informed, and emotionally ready for the work ahead.
The ceremonial experience is held in intimate, highly curated containers that blend traditional lineage-based practice with trauma-informed care and therapeutic presence. We work with experienced facilitators, licensed therapists, and on-site medical staff to ensure each guest is supported on physical, emotional, and energetic levels. Group sharing, body-based practices, and rituals are woven throughout the retreat to support integration in real time.
Integration is not an afterthought. Guests receive one-on-one integration sessions following the retreat, along with referrals to trusted providers and continued access to resources and community care. Our approach honors the long arc of transformation and supports guests in applying their insights meaningfully in everyday life.
Intake Process:All guests go through a comprehensive intake and screening process to ensure safety, readiness, and alignment. This includes a detailed intake form covering medical history, current medications, psychological background, and personal intentions. We conduct phone consultations or video calls with each guest prior to acceptance.
For Iboga retreats, we require a full medical assessment, including lab work, EKG, and a review by our consulting pharmacist or medical team. We also assess for psychological stability and screen for contraindications such as cardiac conditions, active psychosis, or recent substance use that may increase risk.
Informed consent is required, and guests are provided with clear documentation outlining expectations, risks, and support resources. We prioritize transparency, education, and ethical care throughout the entire vetting process.
Supplemental Modalities: yoga, meditation, breathwork, nutrition, internal family systems, somatic experiencing, journaling etc.Psychedelic Substances Offered: Iboga, Huachuma, 5-MeO-DMTHow does this Center source medicine?:Our Iboga is obtained directly through trusted relationships with Bwiti elders in Gabon, either from our own travels or through close teachers who maintain active connections with the tradition. When working with Total Alkaloid (TA) extractions, we use only sustainably sourced root bark and perform all extractions in-house using food-grade solvents in a controlled lab environment. We do not outsource this process.
San Pedro is sourced through Peruvian elders and also grown in our own medicine garden in Baja California Sur, allowing us to steward the medicine from seed to ceremony.
For 5-MeO-DMT, we work with two sources: a vetted lab that provides high-purity synthetic material, and a small amount of naturally harvested secretion from a protected toad sanctuary in Sonora, used minimally and with respect for the animal and ecosystem.
Sustainability, reverence, and traceability are central to our sourcing practices. We honor the origin and spirit of each medicine and work in close relationship with the land, elders, and ecosystems that support them.
