    About Me:

    Hey everyone, my name is Dr. Kathy Gruver. I hold a PhD in natural health with an emphasis in mind-body medicine and have been studying psychology and human behavior my entire life. I am a Reiki master, a certified hypnotherapist, a therapeutic massage therapist and an ACC certified life coach. I have psychedelic training through Third Wave and also from Psychedelic.support. I'm a nine-time author and motivational speaker who has educated people around the globe. Not only have I done two TEDx talks but I'm a frequent guest on radio and TV including Lifetime Television and The Dr. Phil Show.

    Being that I have been in the healing arena for decades, my experience and education is varied and I bring all of that to every session. I am trauma informed, have been trained in Internal Family Systems and Compassionate Inquiry, have studied mind-body medicine at Harvard including with some of the greats like Thich Nhat Hanh and Jon Kabat Zinn. I have studied with Eckhart Tolle and have dozens of coaching and hypnosis certifications. I'm also a former actor and improvisational performer so many of my sessions involve creative processes, movement or humor. I'm a very direct yet compassionate coach and will definitely call people on their BS and urge them to think and feel deeply.

    For my own fun and stress relief I'm a trapeze artist and aerial silk performer and enjoy a rousing game of Dungeons and Dragons.

    Description of Services:

    I provide customized and individualized prep and integration for your psychedelic experience. I am available for both in person and virtual hour-long sessions. As an experienced and certified ACC life coach and certified hypnotherapist all of my sessions are tailored to your needs and your unique experiences. Whether your journey is next week or from five years ago, I can help you navigate the unconscious and conscious to help you move forward on your path. I typically focus on individuals but I'm a trained relationship coach and know it's just as important for the seeker as it is for their support relationships to be involved and informed. I am trauma informed and work a lot with Internal Family Systems and Compassionate Inquiry.

  • My Process

    Intake Process:

    I start with a 15 minute discovery call to see if there is a match and synergy to move forward. I do a medical and psychological assessment, lengthy intake form, and a consent form.

    Overview of Protocol:

    After receiving the intake form our first session is usually discovering the clients experience with coaching and psychedelics, going over in detail what their expectations and needs are and tailoring all of the sessions to them. Some people need one prep session, others need more. Integration sessions could be singular or a series. Being that I customize everything to the individual it's hard to specify the protocol. But I pull out whatever tool I need for the person that's sitting in front of me at that moment.
