Overview of Experience:Jordan (she/they) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider with experience providing psychotherapy to youth and adults in both English and Spanish. She received her Master’s in Social Work with certificates in Trauma-Informed Care and Culturally Responsive Mental Healthcare for Immigrant Families from the University of Chicago in 2018. Jordan has also completed special training in crisis intervention, trauma-focused therapies (EMDR, IFS), psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, suicide postvention, eating disorders, and technology usage as it relates to mental health.
Intake Process:Clients are invited to free 15-minute phone consultation before scheduling their initial intake appointment. Intake appointment includes a review of biological, social, spiritual, and cultural factors in the client's life in addition to the psychological experiences that bring them to therapy. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and get to know their therapist as well. Prior to beginning any form of psychedelic/ketamine therapy, clients must complete both an intake and at least one preparation session.
