About Me:I work relationally from a feminist, oppression-aware perspective. I work with individuals—from teens to elders—along the spectrum of gender and sexual orientation. I work with relationship partners in both traditional and non-traditional relationships. I am polyam-aware and BDSM/kink-knowledgeable, and sex worker friendly. In particular, I welcome creative folk, helpers, and outliers who have tried therapy but didn’t feel like their therapist “got” them. I've been a practicing artist and part of arts communities in San Francisco since the first dot com boom.
As your therapist, I will invite you into a deeper and more rewarding relationship with yourself. I’m genuinely curious and fascinated by how humans operate. Working together, I bring that curiosity to guide your exploration into what makes you the unique and wonderful creature that you are. Therapy looks different for everyone. We will work together to collaboratively discover what therapy looks like for you.
Description of Services:I trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy with Phil Wolfson and Julane Andries at the Ketamine Training Center; and have completed MAPS’ training to provide MDMA-assisted Therapy once it becomes legalized.
I am not currently collaborating with a prescribing MD, so at this time I am only able to provide ketamine-assisted therapy to clients with a prescription from their current psychiatrist or primary care provider.
Because I work relationally, and within an attachment-based framework, I find psychedelic preparation and integration sessions most meaningful when we have the opportunity to create safety and trust in the context of an ongoing psychotherapy relationship.

Overview of Experience:Both preparation before a psychedelic journey, and integration afterward focus on aiding you in making meaning from insights you gain during your journey, and applying these to your goals. I generally recommend meeting for 3 prep sessions to identify what you would like to get out of your journey, and 3 integration sessions afterward to explore what came up, and identify how you might translate any insights into your life.
Intake Process:Please use the contact form on my website: https://www.therapywithivy.com to set up a free 20 minute phone call to see if we might work well together.
