Retreat Info
About the Retreat:In this retreat, we will explore an alternative approach to mental health and planetary wellbeing.
Part mystery and part wisdom, mushrooms produce molecules that fit receptors in the human brain and body. When we ingest this magical medicine of nature with an intent to heal—and we listen deeply and learn to interpret the messages accurately—we learn from them. Plant medicine is not a quick fix but rather a beautiful companion on the path. As American Mycologist Paul Stamets shares, “We are more closely related to fungi than we are to any other kingdom. What this means is that we are descendants of mycelium. Mycelium is the mother of us all.”
The Medicine - Psilocybin has a gentle and kind way of highlighting for us the very thing that needs our attention. Again, while it is magic in many ways—and profound insights can be gleaned in a single session—it isn't always a quick fix (though 66% of trail participants find lasting relief). Plant medicine is a supportive method to deeply inquire into the thoughts that bind us in suffering and/or confusion and that helps us move through life and its challenges with a little more ease. It is imperative to your journey to receive guidance and to learn the tools to enhance and increase the benefits that the medicine offers on its own. Additionally, the medicine opens up new portals of creativity, passion, and empathy that have the power to enhance anyone's life.
