About the Retreat:Guided by a belief in the healing union of science and mysticism, UNIUN offers psilocybin-assisted psychospiritual retreats that invite deep transformation
We offer multiple day immersive retreats in Colorado, where participants embark on a journey of expanded states through the support of entheogenic mushrooms. Guided by experienced facilitators versed in the art of ceremony, psychotherapy, energy medicine, and bodywork, we create a safe and nurturing container for exploration and discovery.
In our immersive retreats, we synthesize ancient, earth-based wisdom with modern insights, forming a unified vision of healing that nourishes the mind, the body, and the very essence of our being. At the heart of our mission is a celebration of the interconnectedness of all things: the dance between the known and the unknown, the seen and the unseen.
At UNIUN, we embrace the power of community in our group retreats. We recognize that our collective journey is enriched by our diverse voices coming together, and that the support of the community strengthens our capacity for transformation. Yet, amidst our shared journey, we also honor the sacred sanctum of individual introspection—the deeply personal pilgrimage of the soul that unfolds within the depths of our hearts. Our retreats are structured to provide rich space for inner work, held within the unwavering communal embrace.
Our approach to healing is psychospiritual, meaning we recognize the intricate interplay between psychological and spiritual dimensions of the human experience. This approach integrates psychological insights with spiritual wisdom, fostering holistic healing that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
Why Psychospiritual?
A purely therapeutic approach often focuses solely on addressing psychological symptoms and distress, overlooking the deeper spiritual dimensions of human existence. Conversely, a purely spiritual approach may lack the practical tools and insights necessary for navigating psychological wounds and traumas.
By blending therapeutic techniques with spiritual practices, our approach offers a balanced and integrative path to healing. We provide the psychological support needed to navigate trauma and challenges, while also tapping into the profound wisdom and resilience of the human spirit, keeping it both grounded and luminous.
Our Ethos:
We honor the beautiful truth that collective healing emerges from the intentional inner work of the individual. We are committed to centering the human heart, empowering each individual to embrace the natural unfolding process inherent in their life's journey. We hold sacred the understanding that nobody heals anyone else; rather, we hold compassionate space and faith for each person to embark on their transformative journey.
Our ethos is anchored in cultivating a deep comfort with and trust in the Great Mystery. With reverence and humility, we navigate the liminal spaces of expanded states of consciousness, recognizing that within these states lie opportunities for profound healing and personal growth.
We embrace an integrative approach to supporting individuals navigating expanded states of consciousness, drawing inspiration from diverse traditions such as psychology, spiritism, animism, and mysticism. Through this synthesis, we create a rich tapestry of practices and insights to guide participants on their inner exploration.
Reciprocity:
When we say "holistic" at UNIUN, we truly mean that the whole person is honored and supported. This includes the global community we each are part of. What benefits one part of the whole, benefits the entirety.
That's why UNIUN commits to giving back 5% of all profits to Chacruna’s Indigenous Reciprocity Initiative. The Indigenous Reciprocity Initiative of the Americas (IRI) stands as a grassroots network of Indigenous community organizations dedicated to fighting for land, water, food, sacred medicine, and culture.
By contributing to this initiative, UNIUN honors the principle of reciprocity—recognizing that our well-being is intricately interconnected with the well-being of Indigenous communities and the Earth herself. On this journey of healing that extends beyond ourselves, we honor and support the guardians of ancient wisdom and sacred lands.

Testimonials:
“The ceremony experience was the door opening to a healing journey beyond imagining. It was the catalyst to an unfolding of my internal walls, exposing a place of calm openness I did not know was possible for me. It showed me what it means to trust and surrender to my inner wisdom, to the Divine within. I will be forever grateful.”“As a burned-out licensed professional counselor, I knew that traditional talk therapy and/or medication would not help me; so, I reached out to Niko, desperate to try something new. After just a couple of ceremonies, I had regained hope, broken through core issues stemming from unresolved trauma, and was on my way to true healing and transformation. I find Niko to be a deeply compassionate person who offers person- centered attentiveness to a degree that I have rarely experienced from clinical mental health professionals. Most importantly, I felt safe and well-held during my sessions with Niko. I do not hesitate to recommend these ceremonies to anyone interested in receiving guided support, to help you on your own healing journey.”“Niko Whitefeather's authenticity brings a sense of calm and safety that allowed me to fully release in his presence. I am blessed to have experienced his deeply connected relationship with the medicine, and I deeply appreciate the long and thoughtful journey he has taken to develop himself as a humble and compassionate servant. Whether guiding a private or group ceremony, Niko gives all of himself with honor and reverence. I am profoundly grateful for his gifts and how they have impacted me and my family."“Niko is a ceremonialist of the deepest sincerity. I feel immense trust in him because he respects my spiritual and cognitive sovereignty. Niko is loving and kind and provides ample time and attention for those under his care. He is also a phenomenal musician who's songs provide a steady current of peace on which to travel. His humble devotion to the light is evident in the multitude of lives he has touched. Niko is a brave and gentle healer who is committed to a purposeful life of service. We are all so lucky to know him.”“My experience with Niko was profound. He has a genuine air about himself that is trustworthy and welcoming. He created a physically safe and energetically secure space that assisted me in surrendering fully into the group ceremony. I was given an incredible multidimensional experience that has me feeling less fear and more unconditional love for myself and others.""I can't recommend the ceremony experience enough, Niko helped me accept that I can trust myself and that my true inner voice is a Divine presence that will never lead me astray.""I met Niko almost a year ago when I was in search of a “trip sitter” to be with me during my first psychedelic session. Niko proved to be so much more than a companion by my side; he was and still is a dynamic, principled, and devoted spiritu al guide. I consider my work with Niko to be a personal blessing and am forever grateful for his talent and skill in the healing arts of sacred medicine."“My ceremony with Niko was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. From our very first meeting, I felt so safe and knew I was in the hands of someone who was incredibly knowledgeable and who truly cared. Niko saw me almost immediately. It seemed that right away, he was attuned to my soul. He barely knew me, yet he understood, more so than I ever did, parts of me that were in pain and needed healing. He helped me get in touch with feelings and self-beliefs that have been weighing on me for 50 years! Niko is a true healer and his wisdom is a gift. I am truly blessed to have him be a part of my healing process.”Practitioners:Niko Whitefeather

There will be two integration sessions on site during the retreat to help participants begin to process and make sense of their experiences during the ceremonies.
Following each retreat we also offer individual and group integration sessions, and we can provide resources for ongoing integration work beyond this. We hope that the retreat you attend is a catalyst for rich transformation and healing, and many find that ongoing integration support is valuable as the insights continue to be revealed.
Intake Process:The process of joining a retreat with UNIUN is designed with your safety and comfort in mind. We offer a truly holistic service, including preparation prior to the retreat as well as integration sessions during and after the retreat. Here's how it works:
to begin your journey, you'll fill out an in-depth intake form. We then conduct a screening process that includes assessing for any physical, pharmaceutical, or psychological contraindications, as well as evaluating whether your current life circumstances are conducive and supportive for this type of experience.
After you complete the form, you will schedule a free 30-minute discovery call with Niko Whitefeather, the founder of UNIUN. This call is an opportunity for you to connect directly with Niko, ask any questions you may have, and get a feel for what UNIUN retreats are all about.
Supplemental Modalities: Yoga, Somatic Awareness, Breathwork, Parts work, Energy workPsychedelic Substances Offered: Psilocybin MushroomsHow does this Center source medicine?:As part of our harm reduction model, UNIUN does not provide the medicine used during the retreat. Instead, we'll provide you with a trusted, high-quality company that specializes in providing psilocybin mushrooms. Your medicine will be shipped from a decriminalized state to the retreat center, which is also located in a decriminalized state. You'll receive a special code specifically for UNIUN retreats, which you can use to purchase your medicine directly from the supplier.
This approach ensures quality control and consistency in the medicine being worked with, while also eliminating any risk associated with flying with or mailing medicine to your home. We prioritize your safety and peace of mind throughout every step of the process, allowing you to focus on your journey of healing and self-discovery.
