Overview of Experience:The first day is to relax and connect. The participants decompress from their day-to-day life and we start with a powerful sharing circle on, the intention for the retreat, the agreements (confidentiality, respect and non-judgement, authenticity). In this sharing circle we also answer many questions which come up around Ayahuasca and the ceremony.
The next day we facilitate a holotropic breathwork session and an Ice bath. Both practices help us to start making the transformation from our head to our body / heart. The Ice bath also connects us with our body intelligence and shows us that we are a lot stronger than we are aware of.
After some rest, we start to get ready for the ceremony, share specific recommendations for the ceremony and the magic begins.
The next day involves a lot of rest and good food. In the afternoon we do a sharing circle to help people make sense of the experience and also facilitate an Ayahuasca Integration seminar so the participants know what to expect after the retreat. In the evening we get ready for the second ceremony.
The next day is similar with a lot of rest and a sharing circle. This is the 3,5 day retreat. The 7 day retreat goes on with a rest day, as well as Yoga, a massage, a hike to a nearby waterfall, a purging day, two more ceremonies, various sharing circles and a lot of personal conversations as well.
Intake Process:We have an initial videocall with people who are interested in an Ayahuasca retreat. This way the potential participant gets an idea of the way we run our retreats / ceremonies plus gets all his / her questions answered. Also it helps us make sure people are there for the right intention (not for recreational use etc.)
The participants fill out an Health Survey so we know their medical background (and eventual preferences in food /allergies). We also work with a doctor who we consult if questions come up and participants have the possibility for a medical consultation as well.
Supplemental Modalities: We offer (holotropic) breathwork, yoga, Ice baths and massages during the retreats as well.Psychedelic Substances Offered: AyahuascaHow does this Center source medicine?:We work with the Kamëntsá Biyá tribe from the south of Colombia, specifically the family of Mama Concha (10+ generations of working with Ayahuasca). We help them buy land where they cultivate the Ayahuasca.
