Coach Info
About Me:Blending personalized ritual with embodiment coaching, I offer a bespoke approach to wellness consulting and therapeutic dance/movement. I balance 10+ years of integrative psychiatry, both for the City & County of San Francisco and privately, with my poetic Sufi background and indigenous roots. This potent mixture delivers the best of science and art, abstract and precise, flow and structure.
I am also a dance and movement facilitator with Open Floor International. I was in Open Floor’s first training cohort in 2016, complementing my medical degree from UC San Diego in 2008. I've been practicing meditative inquiry, exploration of the psyche, and mindful movement for 15+ years. I taught Open Floor classes regularly which I refer to as Dance Alchemy. I also co-developed a program in San Francisco for parents and teens with trauma, that integrates core movement resources with mindfulness-based emotional intelligence. More recently, I trained with PRATI in their Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy program and with Beckley Academy in their Foundations of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Certificate Program.
In holding space, a participant/client's autonomy, intentions, and background are paramount to me. Equity, inclusivity and diversity are essential to my practice. I seek to ignite a person's greatest potential, while compassionately holding the young parts and history of trauma they may be bringing. Trust-building is where I begin.
Description of Services:I guide participants through journeys with sacred medicines, primarily psilocybin and ketamine. We get on a free 20-30 minute call to hear your intentions and see if we're a fit. I set you up for medical clearance and a prescription if it's ketamine.
Then, we do:
-
two to three 1-hr prep sessions, depending on your level of experience with psychedelics.
-
a 3-hour journey if we've chosen ketamine or a 6-hour journey if it's the sacred mushrooms--with beautiful music and bespoke facilitation.
-
two to three 1-hr integration sessions, so this work can be a launch point for a New Life.
If needed, we do further journeys or Sacred Embodiment Coaching sessions. There is flexibility on location, though for psilocybin we'd look for cities where it is decriminalized. Ketamine is already legal. I am based in the SF Bay Area, and able to travel to you for in-person medicine sessions. The preparation and integration sessions can be done virtually.
I'm of indigenous heritage, LGBTQ-friendly and specialize in supporting first- and second-generation immigrants and those with developmental trauma.

Farshid is a talented, kind, and gentle healer. He is excellent with boundaries, trauma work, and spirit work. I am an LMFT and received a few sessions from Farshid in a new modality that he is developing. I was able to process a deep intergenerational trauma with safety, touch, and deep-inner movement.
It’s rare to find someone with this kaleidoscope of skills: spiritual orientation, excellent boundaries and medical knowledge, with feet firmly on the ground and an attunement to the movement of the wind.
