    Overview of Experience:

    We are unique in our care because we offer both IV and IM administration options, as well as the option for individuals to have a self-guided journey or to work with vetted and proficient therapist to receive Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy before, during, and after treatment. All treatment packages begin with a 4-treatment protocol across two weeks, with the first two sessions ideally within a 24-hr time-frame. Special cases for single treatments are generally allotted to clients who have received their initial treatment protocol elsewhere.

    At Gateway Clinics, we do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to your care. We utilize a finely tuned protocol developed by Yale University's Dr. Krystal, and we fit our care plans to fit each client specifically, making your care as unique as you are. Prior to beginning your infusion, we offer a guided 5-minute meditation and encourage clients to enter the treatment with an intention to help direct their focus. Our clinic provides high-quality essentials during your treatment, such as our reclining sofa-chair, weighted blankets, client-specific eye masks, and a curated playlist of therapeutic music for your journey, ensuring that everything is attuned to your needs and comfort.

    Once your treatment is complete, we offer an array of organic, nutrient-rich snacks and teas as you ground yourself. During this post-treatment period, our staff is available and happy to chat with you about your experience if you wish to do so. We encourage clients to journal or meditate following treatment as well.

    All clients coming to us for their first treatment package will also receive a gift of proprietary Gateway Sciences vitamin sprays formulated to provide a synergistic effect to their ketamine therapy, including components such as Magnesium and L-Theanine.

    Intake Process:

    New clients may complete their initial consultation via phone or in-person. Our nursing staff will obtain a full medical and psychiatric history from potential clients, which is then reviewed for approval of treatment by our head anesthesiologist, Dr. Adam Schenk. If any clarifying information is required, Dr. Schenk will reach out to clients directly. Once approved for treatment, clients will receive an email with pre-infusion and post-infusion guidelines, as well as an intake form from our secured medical charting system, Osmind. Therapy consent forms and a mental health scoring assessment will be completed at your first appointment, which we will utilize to establish a baseline to monitor your progress more closely through the treatment protocol. Clients will also receive a medical assessment prior to every treatment, ensuring that vital signs are within appropriate parameters for care. Throughout the infusion process, nursing staff monitors your journey closely, at 5-10 minute intervals without disturbing or interrupting your experience.
