    My name is Melodye and I am the founder of Pure Potential Unlimited, LLC. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I provide psychotherapy and counseling that empowers you to realize your potential to improve your life. Since 1998, I’ve helped individuals, families and communities create positive lasting change.

    I specialize in helping people manage challenging life transitions. I support them as they navigate through life changes that can be overwhelming but also rewarding.

    I have extensive expertise in supporting individuals impacted by depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and apathy. I am skilled in multiple modalities of psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, and solutions focused therapy. I am also trained in psychedelic assisted therapy and can help you integrate your inner journey experience. I am culturally sensitive and responsive and I use strengths-based approaches as I guide my clients towards improved mental health and wellness.

  • My Process

    Overview of Experience:

    Preparation involves in-depth overview of purpose of KAP or PAP as a treatment modality and how to prepare for the session. Preparation will include a discussion of set and setting. Clients will determine music preferences, how to manage touch, and communicate concerns during the experience. The experience of the medicine will be discussed based on selected medicine. Integration will provide an opportunity for clients to discuss their experience, process and make meaning of the experience, and practical application of the lessons learned from the experience. Integration activities may include journaling, arts activities, movement, and psychotherapy.

    Intake Process:

    I offer consultation call with each prospective client. Clients must also meet with their primary care provider for medical assessment. Intake includes biopsychosocial assessment, review of practice policies and procedures, and education on psychedelics and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
