About Me:I have been in private practice since 2002 and have been blessed to get to work with adult clients of all ages, backgrounds, orientations, histories and desires for their own freedom from stuckness and suffering. It is my honor to help people heal the old beliefs and emotions that hold them back from the relationships with themselves and others that they crave, and to help them shape lives that reflect their authentic selves.
I am a Ketamine Assisted Therapist and a Teacher's Assistant for the IPI Psychedelic Assisted Therapy training as I am thrilled to offer support to clients who want to utilize the power of psychedelics in their healing journeys.
Description of Services:I began working with prenatal and postpartum mood disorders and my practice has evolved more toward working with trauma of all shapes and sizes with EMDR, somatic therapy and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. I work quite a bit with the symptoms of depression, anxiety and trauma. I also focus on helping people create lives in alignment with their authenticity, integrity, intuition and purpose.

Overview of Experience:During the preparation phase, we talk about both sides--the side of what clients can expect from the journey and the other side of what they are hoping for. We talk through both of those aspects until the expectations are grounded in an awareness of accurate possibilities. It is also a time for us to build a safe relationship and to practice somatic processing skills and strengthen internal resources.
The Ketamine journey itself is held in a quiet office space with a comfortable couch, music, eye shades and enough time for the journey and abundant processing time after if needed.
Integration happens both within 48 hours of the journey with a phone conversation to take advantage of the lingering neuroplasticity to begin to utilize or contemplate the new perspectives. Following that, we meet weekly to continue to integrate using somatic therapies, Internal Family Systems and a variety of at home suggestions to work with between sessions.
Intake Process:Intake is about getting to know one another--my learning about my client's goals, struggles, stuck places and strengths and their learning about the medicine journey they are undertaking. It is also a time for us to develop our relationship so that the client feels safe, trusting and honored for who they are.
