About Me:Hi, I’m Ali McKleroy, founder of The Creative Psychonaut, where healing meets imagination and psychedelic integration becomes a path to authentic, empowered living—with a lightness of being that comes from feeling truly yourself. I help people turn deep insights into embodied change through creativity, somatic practices, and mindfulness so life feels more grounded, joyful, and free.
I’m an author, artist, and therapist with 20 years of clinical experience and over 30 years on the plant medicine path.
Rooted in respect for Indigenous wisdom and informed, ethical integration, I guide clients through intuitive, creative, and somatic practices that turn plant medicine experiences into lasting transformation.

Overview of Experience:In preparation, we focus on intention, grounding, and nervous system support. You’ll learn how to enter your journey with clarity, safety, and openness—creating a stable inner sanctuary for whatever arises. We explore your intentions, emotional patterns, and spiritual connection so the experience feels guided from within rather than sought from outside.
I help you approach the journey with presence and curiosity. Whether you’re working with plant medicine, ketamine-assisted therapy, or other expanded states, you’ll have tools to stay centered, listen to your body, and trust the process. The aim is to open to the intelligence of the experience while remaining connected to your inner self.Integration is where insight becomes transformation. Through a blend of nervous system regulation, creativity, and IFS/parts work, we give shape and voice to what you’ve experienced. Art-making, journaling, and somatic awareness help your body and psyche digest and anchor the medicine’s teachings.
I specialize in working with women who are ready to live with more authenticity, joy, alignment, and inner freedom. Integration isn’t about chasing peak experiences—it’s about embodying wisdom in everyday life. Together, we’ll translate your insights into new ways of being that bring more peace, vitality, and connection to yourself, others, and the sacred.
Intake Process:Before beginning work together, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to ensure our approach and intentions are a good fit. If we decide to move forward, clients complete a confidential intake form that includes relevant medical and psychological history, current supports, and goals for integration or preparation.
I review this information carefully to ensure that coaching or integration work is appropriate and that the client is already medically cleared for any psychedelic experience they plan to undertake. I do not provide or administer medicines and always require that clients have access to licensed medical and psychological care if needed.
Before our first session, clients review and sign informed consent forms outlining scope, confidentiality, and limits of service. When appropriate, I may request communication with a referring provider or therapist to ensure safety and continuity of care.
My goal is to create a safe, ethical, and trauma-informed space rooted in integrity, mutual respect, and readiness for this work.
