About Me:I have been a Naturopathic Doctor since 2004 and an herbalist since age 16. I graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM, formerly NCNM) and completed a two-year family practice residency. I was an academic and clinical faculty member at NUNM for over 15 years, teaching Environmental Medicine and IV therapy, as well as being the proprietor of Vital Vinegars, an infused vinegar company.
Growing up in the Mountain West, I first became interested in wild plants as foods and medicine while on a 10-day backpacking trip in the Tetons when I was 15 years old. While on this trip, my food supply became depleted, leading me to supplement my diet with wild edible plants. From this experience, I realized first- hand that food and medicine haven't always come from grocery stores or pharmacies and that the Earth has been providing for us for millennia. Â Born out of a life-changing experience with edible natural plants, this realization was the seed of what has become a life-long passion and appreciation for natural medicine.

Overview of Experience:Ketamine therapy is a form of treatment that involves the use of the drug ketamine. While at higher doses it is used as in anesthesia, at lower doses, it is used to treat a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and chronic pain. Ketamine therapy is usually administered through intravenous infusions or intramuscular injections, but it can also be given in other forms, such as nasal sprays or oral lozenges. The therapy is usually administered as a series of infusions over a period of several weeks or months.
Intake Process:Psychedelic integration helps individuals process and integrate their experiences after taking traditional and non-traditional psychedelics such as ketamine, MDMA, LSD, psilocybin, and ayahuasca, and may be done in individual or group sessions. The goal of integration is to help an individual understand and integrate the psychedelic experience, the insights and perspectives gained, and apply those insights to their daily lives in a healthy and meaningful way. This can also include any negative or challenging experiences that came up, and can help give meaning and understanding to why these came up at the time and in the way that they did.
