    About Me:

    Hi, my name is Dr. Erica Burger and I'm an integrative psychiatrist. Even before medical school, I knew that I wanted to help people through a holistic lens and with an integrative medicine approach. My goal is to provide mental health care that helps you feel empowered and able to activate your own inner healing. I love helping people reclaim their peace and feel more balanced so they can live the life they want to be living.

    I am the founder of Driftless Integrative Psychiatry, a micro clinic that began out of a simple desire to provide forward-thinking and compassionate care that puts patients in the driver seat of their mental health. I care deeply about helping people feel better and utilize innovative and effective approaches to help.

    At this time, I offer holistic psychiatry services to those living in Wisconsin, Iowa, or Minnesota.

    Description of Services:

    My goal is to provide a warm, empathic and supportive relationship. I deeply believe in the power of relationship, community, and helping you restore trust in yourself. My practice is informed by internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy, herbalism, and training in biodynamic osteopathic medicine and psychiatry.

    Using both modern and traditional approaches to psychiatry, I offer medication management, therapy, botanical options, supplements and/or nutrition recommendations.

    I have training in both ketamine assisted psychotherapy and accelerated resolution therapy. These two therapies work quite beautifully in alchemy with each other.

    I specialize in helping health care professionals with moral injury, burnout, depression, anxiety, and trauma. In addition, I have expertise in perinatal psychiatry, working with women during pregnancy and post-partum.

    Overview of Experience:

    I help you process past psychedelic experiences into your daily life in ways that provide you with a greater sense of meaning, clarity, and self-awareness. While I do not provide, condone, or support the use of illegal substances, our integration services offer a safe space to prepare for and process non-ordinary states. I have completed experiential training through the Ketamine Training Center for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, as well as ongoing consultation with mentors. I am trained as a psychiatrist and if preferred and indicated, offer other healing modalities in conjunction with psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.

    Patients at our clinic feel supported, safe, and not judged. I stay up to date on best practices for psychedelic assisted therapy.
